Tyler Bayne, a Senior at Leyton High School in Dalton, NE was recently diagnosed with ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia). ALL is a blood cancer that spreads through the bone marrow and occurs when a bone marrow cell error occurs in the DNA. ALL has a higher remission rate than most childhood cancers and is also the most common of them.

Tyler is currently in Denver, CO at Children’s Hospital and has had bone marrow procedures, a spinal tap, and a port put in. He has begun treatments already after being diagnosed on Monday, October 10th after a series of migraines in which a blood test showed high white blood cell counts. He may be there or back and forth for a month or so, causing medical, transportation and other expenses to add up.
