TACE Treatment for Ceri

Myself and our friends are trying to raise as much money as we can to make it possible for Ceri Boden to receive

TACE treatment in Germany that we cannot get in the UK. We are having to fund it and arrange travel to Frankfurt. We are looking to raise money for a treatment that is not currently available on the NHS but is showing amazing results with prognosis improving by up to 10 years. The treatment is called TACE and with funding could be started in the next 2 weeks.

Transcatheter arterial chemoembolization (TACE) is a minimally invasive procedure performed in interventional radiology to restrict a tumor's blood supply. Small embolic particles coated with chemotherapeutic drugs are injected selectively through a catheter into an artery directly supplying the tumor. These particles both block the blood supply and induce cytotoxicity, attacking the tumor in several ways.

I am asking all our friends and families to spare as much money as they can afford to enable Ceri to have the opportunity to receive this treatment..

This is just the beginning she will need up to 4 treatments each costing £3000.
