Meet Tabitha. Rescued from neglect and the streets. She came into us heavily pregnant - a tiny little girl with a round belly.
Unfortunately Tabitha’s labour did not go as planned. The Labour was slow and tricky due to Tabitha’s small size and large kittens. She delivered the first little boy, Lucky, who was limp and struggling but thanks to the team’s quick actions he is now doing ok. The second kitten unfortunately was stuck in the canal, we took Tabitha to the vets and she managed to deliver the kitten but he died soon after. She was scanned and one kitten remained still alive, but unfortunately her labour wasn’t able to progress naturally and we rushed her to the vets the next morning to find the kitten had passed away meaning she needed an emergency c section.
The incredible team at The Pet Vet Nottingham have provided the emergency treatment she needed - but it does come at a cost that we just don’t have the funds to cover alongside the other medical procedures in the works.
The total we are hoping to raise to cover the bill is £1674.93. This includes Tabitha’s spay too, so she won’t have to ever suffer again from an unwanted pregnancy her body is too little to handle.
Any donation, no matter how small, will help us pay this bill.
A huge thank you to The Pet Vet Nottingham for helping with Tabitha’s emergency surgery, and to All Creatures for helping with the stuck kitten initially.
Please donate to help us help Tabitha.
The tiny paw prints of one of her babies that didn’t make it. Every single donation helps.
