Tabatha Weik Lymphoma & Chemo Therapy Recovery

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to find your way here. My name is Corwin Weik, I'm a 28 year old artist born and raised in Athens, Georgia.

In January 2024 my mother, Tabatha Weik, was diagnosed with Non-Aggressive Lymphoma after a tumor was found in the lymph nodes on her pelvis. In February she began a 6 month IV based Chemo Therapy treatment to hopefully stop the spread of this cancer. Unfortunately there is no cure for Non-Aggressive Lymphoma, so we are hoping this round of Chemo does the job -- meaning there may always be a chance of this returning. Beyond this cancer diagnosis, she has had both her Left Knee & Hip fully replaced in the past 18 months.

I'm creating this GoFundMe to raise funds to help support my Mother during her time in treatment and recovery. Growing up my mother raised me and my younger brother, Tristan Weik, alone without the help of my father or her family, in doing so she sacrificed more than words can quantify. She worked herself to all ends in order to provide my brother and I with what we needed, always putting us 1st and her needs 2nd. Without my mothers sacrifices I would not be who I am today. She instilled an incredible work ethic in me and my brother, but also taught me kindness and how to love wholeheartedly.

She is still working Full Time at Amazon through out her Chemo Therapy Treatments and has no other streams of income beyond this job. The reality of cancer treatment is that it is unpredictable and takes a toll on the human body. The next 6 months are going to be an uphill battle against the gravity of chaos that chemo wrecks and she will likely be having to take unpaid time off from work.

I would like to raise enough funds to create a safety net for my mothers bills and rent costs. Even before this diagnosis the rising costs of living have stressed her pocketbook, I would like to remove the additional stress of missing work from my mothers life. This fund would be used for rent, utilities, and unexpected costs arising from the Chemo process.
