Tabaski Meals for Senegal
Donation protected
During this challenging time, many families in Senegal have been hit hard financially by the global pandemic. With the upcoming Tabaski holiday (July 31st), one of the most important days in Senegal, The JOXXE Foundation will be raising money to provide meals for families in Rufisque, Senegal.
Traditionally, families gather and share a celebratory meal consisting of lamb, jollof rice, stewed vegetables, and more. We will provide families with all of the ingredients for this special meal and we will make sure that all food ingredients are African-grown. It's important to us that we are not only investing in families in need right now but also local farmers. Too often, cheap, inferior imported food products flood the local marketplace and make it challenging for local farmers to compete.
For every $100 raised a full meal kit (lamb, rice, oil, and vegetables) will be donated to a family in Rufisque, Senegal.
The JOXXE Foundation's mission is to invest in West African communities to provide them with the resources and tools they need to become more resilient and self-sufficient.
