Everyone that knows Steve understands his hard work, caring and dedicated attitude towards Johns Lyng Group.
The past year has been a difficult, challenging and confronting time for the Tranter's. Lily who is 2 years old “suffers from dysphagia (unsafe swallow) which in turn causes aspiration & frequent chest infections. Due to her dysphagia she had to have a mic-key “button” surgically placed into her stomach. She is short statured due to a growth hormone deficiency, has a pda heart murmur & biliary reflux. Despite being seen by one of the leading genetic metabolic specialists, Lily is yet to receive a genetic confirmation on her diagnosis which only makes management of her conditions all the more complex.”
Six months ago, a beautiful boy Levi was delivered into this world. Levi was immediately diagnosed with numerous medical complications including tachycardia, neurological episodes due to the Hyperekplexia and breathing issues which cause him to be on oxygen at all times.
The family are required to have continuous appointments with electrologists, neurologists and check ups with numerous specialised doctors. The family are constantly in and out of hospital. Due to the complexity of both Lily and Levi’s conditions they are not eligible for any Government funding as they don’t fall into a simple categorised box.
We thought the least we could do as a team is gather together some funds to assist Steve and his family during these hard times, as well as take the edge of some hospital fees for his children. Please, if you can spare some support for Steve’s family during this time we are sure it would mean the world to them. Steve works so hard for us here at JLG, the least we can do is give a little love back to him.
