KAREN’S SECOND BATTLE WITH CANCER
Karen is battling cancer for a second time. This second battle has proven to be a greater challenge physically, emotionally and financially.
Karen was first diagnosed with cancer in April of 2004 at the age of 35 years old. After enduring chemotherapy, radiation and a double mastectomy like a champion, she was cancer free for 11 years and she felt as though the battle was over. This past January, after not being able to shake what she thought was the flu a scan revealed that the cancer had returned and was far more extensive and aggressive than the first time. Unbelievably, Karen has had to undergo chemotherapy and radiation for a second time.
Karen needs your help. Stress is most certainly the enemy here. We ask for your support in easing some portion of her stress by assisting financially. Karen is dealing with growing medical bills and she will require life long, constant medical care.
