Raven's Road to Recovery

Hello everyone, my name is Raven Dubois. On Friday May 26,2023 my life changed. It started out with me getting off from my night shift job, my plans were to get a few hours of sleep then head out to pick up a few things for my daughter’s birthday (which was on Monday May 29th). Little did I know it would change everything to wake up to seeing your legs on fire and everything dark with smoke trying to find my way out, and everything collapsing and a fireman pulling me out. I thank the fireman and the fire dept. and sending prayers up for the Fireman who lost his life trying to save ours.

I am reaching out to all of you because I need your help. I am not going to let this be an end to my story but a beginning of a new chapter. Along with working a night shift job I was also in school getting ready to complete my studies in the medical field to receive my degree. That is why I said this is not the end of my story just a set back for a great comeback a story to let others know even when life throws you a big punch keep pushing my road is not going to be a easy one I have had two surgeries so far and still have a way to go I am asking everyone due the mounting medical cost I will be having I do not have the money to cover future surgeries, treatments and rehabilitation to get me back up and able to continue to support my self and my daughter and to pursue a career in service to others as a medical healthcare worker.
