A Bike & Swing for Sara

Sara is my BFF.  We love to hang out, play and generally get into as much mischief as possible ;-)  But Sara was born with SMA Type 2, so her brain refuses to tell her muscles to move like she wants them to.  SMA is the #1 Genetic killer of babies.  Luckily, my Sara is a Warrior and continues to fight SMA every day.  Unfortunately though, SMA is mean and nastly and doesn't allow Sara to do everything she wants to do.  One of the things Sara wants to do but can't, is to ride a bike with me through the park.  We tried to win Sara an adaptive bike in the Great Bike Giveaway, but just couldn't get enough votes.  That is why I set up this GoFundMe page, so maybe through this, we can get Sara the adaptive bike and she and I can race through the park, exploring, chasing the brothers and simply have fun being kids.  I'd also like to get Sara a swing.  Sara used to be able to swing, but SMA has weakened her muscles too much now and she can no longer swing.  I love to swing, and I know Sara would love to swing again.  If we could raise the funds for this GoFundMe Campaign, we could also get Sara an adaptive swing, and maybe, for just a few moments, she could forget she has SMA and just be joyful and free and swing like every other kid.
Sara's adaptive bike and swing are very expensive, but I know that together, with help from all my FB and Twitter friends, we can raise the funds to get Sara a bike and swing of her own.
Please share and like and donate if you can... SMA may be mean and nasty and not let Sara do a lot of things, but we can slap it across the face and give Sara the ability to play like a kid... to swing and ride like there was no SMA.
