Dear Friends, Family, Acquaintances, & Supporters of Artists,
I am Vincent Hale, a native of Chattanooga, Tennessee. In 8th grade, I saw a production of Bye Bye Birdie at the Tivoli Theatre, presented by Center for Creative Arts and my world was changed. I knew from that moment on I had a calling and was born to perform on stage. Since then, I have been fortunate to act in a number of productions including but not limited to Bye Bye Birdie, Children of Eden, Beauty and the Beast, Urinetown, Seussical, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Crazy for You , Sophisticated Ladies, Chicago, The Color Purple, The Wiz, Rent, Hair, Annie, Ragtime, Cosi fan tutte, and Die Fledermaus. I have taken the necessary actions to achieve my hearts desire and I am finally close to being able to pursue my dream.
Fulfilling my dream will also help others to fulfill theirs. I am an avid supporter of arts education. Being mentored by great arts educators has also influenced me to enter academia. I plan to use my education, creativity, musicality, integrity, and professional experience to not only improve in the field of performing arts, but also so that I too may develop minds through the process of making expressive art. In moving to New York City, I will be presented with many more opportunites within my field. However, just as many people whose career choices have required them to relocate have learned, the road leading to success is rough and rugged.
My mother and I have a goal of one day seeing my name in lights. You can help me make that dream a reality! I am trying to raise enough money for a travel and living expenses until I find a job. I have been applying for all types of postions inside and outside the arts and am confident the right job will come along in due time. I am focused and face any situation with a positive disposition and optimistic spirit. I trust God will put it in some of your hearts to help me. No amount is too small and all is greatly appreciated. Please help me so that one day, I will be able to help someone else.
