Hello, Im Kimberly Sistrunk, the aunt of Jaxson. As most know, 14 yr old Jaxson fell unresponsive at home March 14 and was taken to the hospital where we later found out he was Type 1 diabetic and fell very quickly into DKA (diabetic ketoacidosis) hes currently recovering in PICU at Tx Childrens hospital in Woodlands, Tx. His mom Natasha and dad Cody do have medical insurance but we all know insurance doesnt cover everything. Jaxson is lined up for multiple doc visits with high copays several times a week once well. Natasha is a nurse that works 2 jobs but has to leave a pretty long leave from both to take care of Jaxson even once out of the hospital. I decided to make this donation page to help them out with expenses such as, medical visits, medicines, food and gas for natasha and cody while staying with Jaxson in PICU. If you know Natasha you know she would give and do anything for you and has a heart of gold. If you have the privilege of knowing Jaxson then you have hit the lottery! Such a sweet boy!
