My name is Nicolas Ara, and this is my cat, Bolt. We recently discovered a growth in Bolt’s eye (pictured), and after getting a vet's opinion, it’s cancer. Specifically, lymphoma or cancer in the white blood cells. I’m away at college, and he’s deteriorating rapidly. The screening alone was very expensive, and with follow-up procedures, it’ll only increase. Despite my family and I raising money on our own, it likely won’t be enough to cover his care before it’s too late. Bolt has been my buddy for almost 10 years, alongside his brother Rocky. He’s always been full of joy, energy, and funny moments. I hate having to ask for help, but Bolt is my best friend and I just want the chance to see him happy and healthy again. If you know me you know how much my cats mean to me and how much they’ve carried me throughout my life.
