Help Mark rebuild after devastating home flood

Hi everyone, my name is Shiloh, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my 70-year-old father, Mark Kent, who is facing a heartbreaking and unexpected crisis.

My dad has spent the last couple of years dedicating his life to caring for his 93-year-old father and his elderly stepmother, both of whom are now facing medical needs. He does this on his own without any government support.

Recently, a sudden medical emergency involving his loved ones and a serious flood causing electrical, plumbing and interior damage to his home happened. Tragically, this essential repair work is not covered by insurance. Just as he was preparing for a well-deserved retirement—having finally paid off his home—this disaster struck and changed everything.

Now, instead of resting, dad is struggling with the financial and emotional toll of repairing a damaged home.

He needs our help, unfortunately he doesn’t have enough savings.

Funds raised will go directly towards:

Emergency electrical and flood damage repairs

Home safety modifications to protect him, his father and stepmother

Basic living expenses during this difficult transition

Given the nature of the damage and Mark's situation, the funds goal amount is:
