Raising Money For Lance's LLD Orthotic Shoes

May I first say my husband's medical journey started years ago, and after 20 surgeries and the roller coaster of pain, doctors, tears and lost hope of what we thought would be - we have been so blessed! Crazy I know.  Lance lives a new normal now and the future is in God's hands for us all, but Lance is stronger and more stable now thanks to prayer, and what's even better is we enjoy more days of peace and less days in fear no matter what we see or feel, and we have hope! Jesus is the straight Reason. Not to sound corny, but we sought him and he has gifted this to us, and it is amazing! Were in the valley, and with that comes struggles and weakness, but God's power is real peeps.  Believe on that. To our family and friends over the years that continue to help ease the pressure on us - when at times we were at our lowest.  When we both thought Lance was going to probably succumb to this lengthy fight here on earth - there is no way without you that we would be where we are now. Personally the way I cope is with laughter and trying to make good memories even in the dark times, and I wouldn't have been able to do that without those around us.

A little wordy, but in case there is someone going through something that needed to hear that, I had to share.

I decided to create this fundraiser because whatever is going to make Lance more comfortable is important, and we shouldn't be afraid to ask for help at times.

Our most recent surgical medical incident with Lance's weak bones happened a couple of years ago.  He was taken by ambulance to Spring Valley Hospital.  His surgery required a Femur Replacement and Total Knee Revision of a previous Knee Replacement.  One of the results of the surgery was a 2 inch Right Leg Length Discrepancy and a pretty bad Supination of his foot.  Evolve Orthotics and Prosthetics in Las Vegas has been great, but between the purchase of a shoe, the 2" total build up, external heel wedge and custom sole for the supination, each shoe is costing $300-400!  Other perks are even more $, like a honeycomb lift. These shoes wear out too fast since he wears one pair at a time 24/7. I need to start customizing better quality shoes that unfortunately are at a higher price point, and give him a little variety so his mobility and spine issues are eased.  We need to get 3 shoes done, a boot, a tennis shoe and a casual slip on shoe.  With help we can get it done.
