Hi everyone,
On 2nd of May 2026 I will be taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge—trekking 24 mile (38.6km) route, with 1585m of ascent. This will be across Pen-y-ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough. The challenge is to complete the circuit in under 12 hours.
I’m doing this to raise vital funds for the Stroke Association, a charity that has become incredibly close to my heart.
The reason why I am doing this :
In August 2021, my life and my family’s life changed when my mum suffered a stroke. Seeing her journey firsthand has opened my eyes to the reality of this condition. A stroke isn't just a medical emergency; it’s a life-altering event that brings immense physical and mental challenges. My mum is still adjusting every single day to gain her confidence back.
Strokes unfortunately do not discriminate they can have an impact on the young and the old alike, leaving families trying to navigate a "new normal" that can feel very overwhelming. I know this first hand seeing what my mum has been through and is still facing today.
Making a Difference
I am taking on these three peaks in honor of my mum’s amazing resilience and to support the thousands of others rebuilding their lives after a stroke. The Stroke Association provides the specialist support, research, and campaigning needed to ensure that survivors don't just survive, but truly recover.
How your donation helps:
* £10 could help provide essential information leaflets to a newly diagnosed survivor.
* £25 could help fund a week of intensive research into new treatments.
* £50 could help pay for a recovery session to help someone regain their speech or mobility.
I am doing this challenge in honour of my mum, and for every person whose life has been turned upside down by stroke. The physical recovery can be exhausting, but the emotional impact — the fear, frustration, and loss of confidence — can be just as heavy. Every mile I walk is for those relearning how to walk, talk, or live independently again, and for the families and carers standing beside them every step of the way
Every step I take up those mountains is a step toward helping someone get their life back. Any donation, no matter how big or small, truly means the world to me and will make a difference to those affected by stroke.
Any help big or small is deeply appreciated. Thank you in advance ♥️♥️♥️
