Meet Helen Niles, an 87-year-old pillar of our community. Always hardworking, Helen retired in her 70's and dedicated her life to helping others. She's deeply involved with her church, volunteers tirelessly, and even played a key role in erecting the Tuskegee Airman monument near the Blue Water Bridge. Recently, Helen was awarded the prestigious Martin Luther King Jr. "Drum Major" award for her commitment to preserving South Parks history.
Tragically, Helen's kindness made her a victim of crime. While offering a ride to the hospital, she was manipulated into stopping at a house. A man entered the car, unbeknownst to Helen, and he stole her phone. He then used it to access and drain her bank account.
Now, Helen faces a desperate situation. Dependent solely on Social Security, she must pay back taxes by March 15th to keep her home. We are appealing to your generosity to help Helen recover from this devastating experience.
Any amount you can contribute will make a difference. Donations will go directly towards helping Helen pay her back taxes and regain financial stability. Together, we can show Helen the same kindness and support she has always shown others.
Please share this story with your network and donate what you can. Let's stand together for Helen!
