I’m not sure how to say this, but I need help.

The past few months have been the hardest of my life. My mental health has hit rock bottom, and it’s affected everything (my family, my ability to function, even just getting through the day). It’s been one blow after another, and the weight has fallen on the people I love most.

My wife has carried more than she ever should have, while I have been in and out of hospitals, clinics, mental health facilities, and unemployed for far too long. Our kids are still so little, they shouldn’t have to feel or witness any of this. My dad has been reaching out to close family, and we’ve been blessed by those who’ve already helped. But the truth is, we’re still struggling.

I’m doing everything I can to get better. But treatment, bills, food (just surviving) is more than we can manage right now. I never imagined I’d have to ask like this, but here I am.

If you’ve ever been in a dark place, or loved someone who has, you know how heavy it can get. I’m fighting to get through this (for myself, but mostly for my family).
