Help Ethan Break through his cancer
Donation protected
If you run into Ethan McKinney on the street, he looks like your typical 14-year old boy; he’s tall, handsome and has a great personality. However there is a lot about Ethan that is pretty extraordinary! He lives on a ranch in the small town of Minden, Nevada, with his parents and younger sister Lillie and a bevy of animals. He also has an older sister Leah who attends school in Massachusetts. He loves to play the bass in the Carson Valley Symphony and is one of the few teenagers that play in the Symphony. He is active in his church, helps out with chores, raises sheep for 4-H, attends classes at the local high school as well as being homeschooled with the help of his mom and the local homeschool co-op. You’ll often find him onstage, as he loves to act and has participated in many plays and musicals in the Carson Valley and Tahoe regions. He makes everyone around him laugh and has a kind and tender soul.
In January, Ethan was diagnosed with an aggressive form of bone cancer. He has been in and out of the hospital ever since. Because of where they live, his parents must take him to San Francisco and/or Oakland, California to receive his treatments. He has undergone chemotherapy, radiation and is currently going through another round of chemo. As you can imagine the medical expenses, as well as travel expenses are building up. He comes from a strong, hardworking family, but at times like these, everyone can use some extra help. If you’re able to donate to help Ethan’s family in their effort to beat this cancer, it would be greatly appreciated! Keep Ethan in your thoughts and prayers!! He’s an amazing kid!
We love you Ethan!!
