Chanda has a very long journey ahead of her.
On Mach 23rd Chanda went for surgery in Mexico. Her health insurance would not cover the surgery in the U.S. so she went to Mexico. After surgery Chanda suffered complications and became septic.
After two weeks in Mexico she came home only to have to go to the E.R. and then to Pittsburgh. She is currently in Pittsburgh in the ICU. She is very slowly making baby step improvements but has a long road of recovery ahead of her.
Chanda's family has been by her side the entire time. Not only do they have medical bills but the cost of gas to travel back and forth, hotel, and food for Travis, Chanda's parents, and her daughter.
