Chloe Gilbert is my neice and she is the sweetest thing you could ever meet. My sister, Kassi - Chloe's Mom, works as hard as possible to provide Chloe with a nice home, safe-reliable transportation, a access to good health care and other necessities.  Chloe's Father, Chris, lives in Houston and is active in the reserves currently serving in Aafghanistan.

 Shortly after birth it was discovered Chloe had problems breathing. At 1 1/2 Chloe was diagnosed with Overactive Airway Disease and has been hospitalized both locally and at Texas Children's in Houston 5 TIMES  for the flu, RSV, a random viral respiratory infection and pneumonia.   

Kassi has missed several days at her hourly paying job due to sleepless nights in the hospital with Chloe, the inablility to take Chloe to daycare while sick, and driving Chloe to Texas Children's in Houston not to mention accrued many hospital/doctor bills as well as rent, insurance, day care, etc.

***UPDATE*** Chloe was admited to Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital on Christmas Day, transferred by mobile hospital (due to weather no helicopter) the day after, spent about a week on life support, transferred to a ventilator and currently is off any machine support working with physical therapists to regain stregnth and basic motor skills. She is doing much better thanks to all of y'alls love, thoughts, and prayers.
