Jeff Heimann's Medical Expenses
Donation protected
According to his nephew, Jeff Heimann is smart, sometimes grumpy, and funny.
He's also sick.
In July of 2013, Jeff was diagnosed with Acute Interstitial Nephritis...in layman's terms, his kidneys shut down due to a rare genetic disorder. Jeff has undergone dialysis three times a week since then, and has been through three hospitizalitions. He is currently on the offical transplant list and is awaiting news of a donor kidney any day, but this comes at a cost.
Though Jeff has insurance, the medical bills are beginning to stack up from his treatments thus far. In addition, the average estimated out of pocket costs of a kidney transplant are approximately $30,000, and the medication he will take daily thereafter is over $100 per day. He's also looking at several months of missed work.
Please consider donating towards Jeff's expenses...you will be our own personal superhero.
