Hi, my name is Michaella and I am fundraising for our dear colleague Faith West who lost her mom suddenly. We are raising funds to help Faith with the funeral expenses. Faith commented:

With great sadness I announce the passing of my mom Sandra Richards on November 26th. She suddenly passed away at home after not feeling well and diagnosed with the flu. She was one of the most kind, caring and selfless people I’ve known. She was a giver who would literally give the clothes and shoes off her back if it would make you smile. She always helped to make light of anything anyone was going through and felt pain with you if you were sad. She raised me without complaint as a single mom making sure I had all the things that I’ve ever wanted and hustled and bustled from working doubles and overnight jobs in the health care field to running a restaurant or even operating a dollar van down Flatbush avenue to give me her version of the american dream. She loved so hard and was so prideful in her role as Nana to her only grandchild. She was my best friend and the one person I looked forward to tell all about my day because she always had the words to make it so much better. Her sudden passing breaks my heart and a piece of me is truly missing I will keep her memory alive and cherish the moments we shared together forever and ever.
