Road To Recovery/ Arriel Cummings
Donation protected
My Daughter, Arriel Cummings, was hit and ran over by a car on July 22, 2017. Arriel sustained several injuries resulting from this incident. She has several broken and fractured bones including a broken pelvis, which stops her from being able to walk. She also suffered from some internal injuries including a ruptured bladder. Arriel has had several surgeries and will need at least two more as far as we know.
Before this incident she lived a very active life. She worked two jobs while perusing her dreams of acting and writing. Arriel was starting to expose her writing skills through her poetry to the public. This unfortunate situation has stopped her from using her fine arts degree. While she was developing her talents as a business, she was excelling at her job and had just been promoted. Everything she has been working hard for has came to a sudden hault and it's out of her control. In the midst of that, she has her daughter to take care of. She is a loving and caring single parent to her soon to be eight year old daughter. This has been hard on her daughter who is use to seeing her mother everyday. Her daughter gets to see her at least once a week, but even with those visits, she can't hug her mom like she wants because of all her injuries. My grand daughter has expressed her feelings of being mad that her mom is in the hospital. She has moments when she cries stating she wants her mommy and it's devastating to not be able to make that happen for her.
My daughter has been strong throughout this whole process. This has definitely been a test of our families faith. We still have a long road to go. We would love you to send out your prayers for a speedy recovery and support her by contributing towards her medical expenses.
Thank You,
Cummings/Dunn Family
