Help Wrigley Fight Cancer

Donation protected

On Thursday 12/19 I was trying to get my lethargic and lazy dog to play and I noticed a large lump under his jawline, felt like a water balloon filled with sand, about an hour later with his breathing slowed down I had to pick him up and carry him to the car and rush him to the 24/7 animal ER where he stayed overnight in oxygen, after bringing him back home he wound up worse within 24 hours and back at a new 24/7 hospital in Torrance, CA.  It was there that Wrigley began test after test, days in the oxygen chamber, IV fluids and more testing. After 3 more days and nights and 10 lbs lost and eventually a shot of Elspar the swelling in his lymphnodes decreased and Wrigley was finally able to come home on Christmas Eve.

This past Saturday we met with the Oncologist and our worst fears
were confirmed, he in fact has Cancer, Lymphoma.  He needed to begin Chemo treatment ASAP.  Wrigley is a 17 month old English Bulldog, none of us, even the doctors believed this could happen to this young of a normally healthy and playful puppy.  So, Saturday, December 28th started Wrigley's journey to beat and overcome Lymphoma.  He started round 1 of what will take the next 6 months, going in on a weekly basis for the next 2-3 months and then once every two weeks after that in hopes to rid his body of the Cancer.

With the overnight stays in the ER, the numerous testing done, and now the next 6 months of Chemo treatments the costs have multiplied in a matter of seconds.  Everything raised will go directly to help cover the large cost of the hospital stays and testing and the next 6 months of chemotherapy. And both he and myself would truly be grateful for any support that we can be provided at this time.

Wrigley (Yes, named after Wrigley Field, GO CUBS) is my world, It was on November 12, 2018 when I met this amazing 6 month old English Bulldog for the first time, we sat and played for hours, I watched him walk around and shake his but and slobber all over me. We have been inseparable ever since, we do everything together, walk the beach, go to the store, go for long car rides, he loves it all. He is a big people watcher and loves to hangout on the balcony and watch everyone walk and ride bikes and loves seeing the other dogs walking by each and every day and he loves to be in the sun and get all nice and warm. He can not wait for spring to get here and be able to turn a CUBS game on the tv and watch for another W!
