#Paytonpower-her fight against brain cancer
Donation protected
Meet Payton Begovich, a bright and beautiful 15 year old girl who was just days away from starting her sophomore year of high school when her world was turned upside down by a devastating diagnosis. Payton and her family were told she has a very aggressive inoperable malignant brain tumor called glioblastoma multiforme.
Over the last several weeks of doctor visits, and multiple test’s Payton has remained so strong but she faces a long road ahead of her, one a child should never have to face. Payton is a 4.0 student, athlete, and was so excited to finally be able to attend school in person this year. She should be worrying about football games, buying her first car, or boys instead of putting up the fight of her life against this ugly cancer.
Payton and her family will be traveling to Seattle from their home in Liberty Lake, Washington where she has been accepted into a clinical trial at the Seattle Children’s Hospital, and she will also start radiation therapy at the University of Washington on 9/20. They will have to stay here for several weeks while Payton is undergoing treatment.
This fundraiser was started by a group of Paytons’ family members, in hopes the donations raised would help lessen the burden financially so her parents, Jennifer and Tony Begovich can focus solely on her care and health.
The money raised will help Jennifer and Tony cover the cost of housing in Seattle, insurance deductibles, medications, medical equipment, lost wages and anything else Payton may need in her fight against this terrible cancer.
We appreciate your contributions however big or small. We also know not everyone can offer a monetary donation-we ask for your continued thoughts and prayers as Payton fights this cancer. She is a warrior, and as she put it “She is going to get this ugly rat out of her head!” #Paytonpower
