CANCER TOUCHES ALL OF US. Our immediate family, our extended family, friends and acquaintances.
This is my sister (in law) Angella. She is a 3 year cancer CHAMPION. Angella was diagnosed with stage 2 COLON cancer in Jan of 2012. This Awesome lady has been cancer FREE for 3 years in June.
I am running to raise funds FOR CANCER RESEARCH. This race will be the Crystal Lake Marathon , a 26.2-mile run on August 8th 2015. This run will specifically be for colon cancer research.
All proceeds are for cancer research. I will do my part by running the distance, KILLING CANCER ONE STEP AT A TIME!!
I've come to realize that words are not enough. I mean saying" I'm sorry you have cancer" is lame, so I plan on running all major races from now on to raise funding for cancer research, sometimes dedicated in honor of a specific person and other times for general research, until I can no longer run.
