Help Secure a Vehicle for a Fresh Start

Hi guys!

Let me start off by saying that I hate asking for help; it makes me feel so burdensome, and if I’m being honest, I’m incredibly embarrassed... but here goes.

I recently left my husband due to our marriage being extremely unhealthy and abusive. I was able to get the boys and I an apartment, but due to an extensive shoulder injury, I haven't been able to go back to work yet, and though I have been receiving worker’s compensation, it wasn’t enough to cover our expenses outside of rent. So, I have been relying on gig work (DoorDash, Grubhub, Walmart delivery, etc.) to help us pay our bills. Doing this work requires a reliable and working vehicle, but it unexpectedly broke down, and the cost to repair it far outweighs the value of the car.

I hate to be asking for help, but living in South Carolina makes it difficult to find resources for survivors of domestic abuse if the abuse wasn't physical. So here I am, asking that you help us to secure a new vehicle!

This has been a difficult transition period as I try to get back on my feet and find my footing, and your help would be appreciated beyond words.
