Running for Lebanon
1.2 million people have been displaced in Lebanon, mostly in the last month, that is 1 in 5 Lebanese people. Among them are 400,000 children. Many of them have nothing to return to as their homes, villages and businesses have been destroyed. This weekend, I am running a 25km mountain trail in my current home, Vietnam, for my original home, Lebanon. All funds raised will go to BEIT EL BARAKA, a registered Lebanese NGO, through its partner NGO in Australia. BEIT EL BARAKA is providing emergency food, housing and medical aid to the displaced, many of whom are currently living on the streets of Beirut. I am asking for 25AUD contributions - $1 for every km I run, walk or crawl. Every contribution will make a difference, and my family will match the funds raised before this Saturday, 18 October, 2024. Thank you / Shukran in advance for your contribution. Your support means so much to me and more importantly, to the people of Lebanon.
