Rodney & Kay Parden Kicking Cancer
Donation protected
My name is Yvette LeBlanc,
As most of you know Rodney Parden was diagnosed a short time ago with stage 2 prostate cancer while waiting to begin treatment for his cancer Kay Parden, his wife was diagnosed with cancer of the bladder it is an aggressive type and she has been sent to MD Anderson Cancer Research Hospital in Houston TX. They are living on Social Security and dependent on Medicare for their medical treatment. Traveling to and from the Drs and Hospitals on a daily basis for treatment is not only stressful but outrageously expensive. As I am writing Kay is in Houston at a hotel waiting to find out what the course of her treatment is going to involve while Rodney has to stay back at home to have radiation. It is his second of 45 treatments. That means 43 more trips. Medicines, transportation, parking, hotels, and hospital food! they are going to need all of our help and prayers to make it through. I am confident that they can both kick cancers butt.... But the stress of how to make ends meet will put unnecessary stress on them and it will be harder. I know that together we can help to lighten their load, and yes we are our brother (and sisters) keeper. Give what you can and give often this is going to be an on going battle for a while. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Psalm 27:13 I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.
