48 For Change Presents: THE 10K FOR 10K
Donation protected
Help 48 For Change and Denver Run Club raise money and awareness for the current DPS (Denver Public Schools) initiative ‘Films for the Future ’. Films for the Future initially launched in 2018, and is a DPS Foundation fundraising event that seeks to educate the community. It creates a space to shine light on relevant topics related to education while we strive to learn and grow together alongside topic experts so we can better understand and support today’s issues. These goals fall directly in line with our goals at 48 For Change and present a great opportunity for us to give back directly to one of the communities we belong to.
48 For Change is a group of friends who want to help open the doors of opportunity for everyone. We recognize that systemic inequalities underlie our society. We want to be a catalyst for positive change, promoting healthy lifestyles and fighting for educational equality. We see education as the gateway to a better future, the path to enlightenment, and growth. We believe education can be the equalizer to inequality.
Education is the most important tool in a person’s life. Education is the means through which people can change their circumstance. Education teaches us to listen and understand different perspectives, and this communication allows us to develop empathy.
The fight for opportunity can only be won on the front lines, connecting communities through conversation. We are dedicated to the fight. We are stronger together. Run with us. Donate with us. Help us reach our $10,000 goal for our DPS students!
