Gabriel needs your help

Donation protected
Gabriel was diagnosed at 18 months old with a rare, congenital disease called Hirschsprung's disease. This condition results in there being no nerve endings in your large intestine, which makes it impossible to pass stools normally.
Gabriel had his first surgery in April of 2017, almost a full year ago. During this procedure, they removed 14 centimeters from his large intestine. Since then, he's been hospitalized twice more with severe blockages, and potentially life threatening bacterial infections caused by those blockages.
He is still struggling with this condition, and is still unable to have normal bowel movements. Twice a day, he has to manually irrigated by his parents to keep these blockages from occurring.
He will be 3 years old in April of 2018, and has now been referred to Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, OH. This is the home of the nations only Hirschsprung's center. His first appointment with them is scheduled for late April. If anyone can help, it is the doctors at this location.
It is currently unknown whether any medical attention he receives outside his home state of Maine will be covered by his insurance, and the family will have to pay travel and lodging costs for multiple round trips. His family is a single income family, as his mother monitors his condition closely at home.
Any help you can give in order to ensure that Gabriel will have a healthy, normal life moving forward would be appreciated. Thank you very much.
