Harvey's Vet Bills.

Hi, my name is Madeline and I'm Harvey's mum. A long sad story ahead. On Friday afternoon 15/11 I took a happy healthy Harvey outside to the toilet. He started hopping and sniffing at his foot and within seconds he was frothing at the mouth and pooping everywhere. I grabbed him and rushed back through the house to get to the car but he went limp and stopped breathing. I put him down and started cpr and got him breathing again, I rushed straight to the closest vet. They did the works on him and once stable enough he was transferred to the animal hospital over the weekend where he stayed to be monitored because he had heavy haemorrhaging blood diarrhoea and bloods weren't back to normal. He was well enough on the Sunday afternoon to come home with close monitoring but needs to go in for further testing and scans as his liver isn't giving results at a normal level still. They found a stinger in his foot which means they're positive he had an extremely severe anaphlylactic reaction to a bee sting. Unfortunately you can never prepare for these things. In his 11 years nothing like that has happened. A few years ago I unexpectedly went through a separation/divorce when I was 4 months pregnant so my financial situation is paycheck to paycheck with no room to save for something like this. I understand a lot of people are also in the same boat as times are tough but this boy saved me when I was at my worst so I'll do anything I can to save him too. My son (3) and I are so happy he's home with us and are thankful to absolutely anything, even just sharing helps! Thank you for reading.
