My Name is Manar BULBUL, I live in Norway. This fundraising is launched to help My sister's Family in Gaza. All of my family members are in danger in Gaza. I lost many of my relatives, and i hope my family can survive. I launched this fundraising to help them. All the donations will go to them. This story below is written by my sister Alaa Jamal.

I am Alaa Jamal, a 33-year-old Palestinian from Gaza and a mother of two, Haider (9) years and Adam (7) years.

Safety, tranquility, a dignified life, clean drinking water, satisfying and nourishing food, a comfortable bed for sleep, a warm blanket, hot water for bathing, and a clean and private bathroom – all these wishes have been shattered by the war on Gaza. We still consider them distant dreams due to the difficulty of the life we are living, lacking all the elements of a decent and secure life.

The Gaza war, which began on October 7, 2023, continues to this day, marked by relentless and aggressive attacks against us as civilians. This has subjected us to what feels like a genocidal campaign, destroying our home and forcing us to evacuate to the south due to continuous bombardment. We spent approximately two weeks in Gaza City, seeking refuge at the home of relatives near the Al-Quds Hospital.

The nights were extremely scary and terrifying, filled with explosive bombs and missiles that hasn't ceased for a single minute, the smell of gunpowder, dust, gas bombs, and phosphorus continues to haunt us to this day, we spent under the nights under the stairs, fearing destruction and the collapse of the house upon us.

And we moved, compelled, to the south on October 21, 2023, with family members totaling around 15 individuals. However, we only found a small room in one of the kindergartens in Rafah, lacking the most basic elements for life. We sleep on adjacent mattresses, sharing limited blankets, beddings, and pillows, where every four individuals share two mattresses, two pillows, and one cover.

We struggle daily to obtain food supplies. At times, we resort to consuming a single meal, typically one small sandwich, due to the lack of electricity, fuel, and cooking gas. The closure of border crossings since the beginning of the war has prevented the entry of goods and fuel, leading to challenges in securing essential supplies. Additionally, the scarcity of medications and drinking water has compelled us to resort to consuming saline water, adding to the difficulty of obtaining clean water for bathing and laundry, which we can only manage once every 9 days.

We have lost many family members, close friends, and colleagues without bidding them a final farewell or even knowing where they were laid to rest. We suffered the loss of our livelihood and our only source of income, as the shop owned by the father, dedicated to selling car parts, was destroyed.

We need starting a new life, beginning with coordination at the Rafah border crossing. Haider in the fourth grade and Adam in the second grade. This is due to their inability to attend school amid the outbreak of war. We plan to use these funds until we can initiate our own project for livelihood after losing our jobs in Gaza.

On the sidelines of our story is a cause deserving support: Haider, at 9 years old, is a talented artist specializing in car drawings and design. He deserves a better life than living through war or emerging as another casualty beneath the rubble, like many other targeted children. I hope this campaign achieves its primary goal of raising the required amount, and I hope you understand my position as a fearful mother, deeply concerned about the lives and future of her children.

الأمان، الاطمئنان، حياة كريمة، مياه نظيفة للشرب، طعام مشبع ومغذي، سرير مريح للنوم، غطاء دافئ، مياه ساخنة للاستحمام، وحمام نظيف وخاص وغير مشترك، منزل دافئ، مدرسة لأطفالي، مستقبل أفضل كافة تلك الأمنيات دمرتها الحرب على غزة، ولا زلنا نراها أحلام بعيدة المنال بسبب صعوبة الحياة التي نعيشها والتي تفتقد لكافة مقومات الحياة الكريمة والأمنة.

حرب غزة التي بدأت بتاريخ 7 أكتوبر 2023 والتي لا زالت مستمرة حتى اليوم في ظل هجوم مستمر ومتواصل بشكل عدواني تجاهنا كمدنين, والذي جعلنا نتعرض لإبادة جماعية دمرت منزلنا وأجبرتنا على النزوح إلى الجنوب نتيجة القصف المتواصل، حيث قضينا ما يقارب أسبوعين في مدينة غزة لدى منزل أحد أقاربنا بعد تدمر منزلنا والذي كان في محيط مستشفى القدس عشنا ليالي صعبة جدا جعلتنا نقضي الليل بأكمله على الدرج خوفا من انهياره على رؤوسنا.

وانتقلنا مجبرين إلى الجنوب بتاريخ 21 أكتوبر 2023 مع أفراد العائلة الذين بلغ عددهم ما يقارب 15 شخص، ولم نجد سوى غرفة صغيرة في أحد رياض الأطفال في مدينة رفح تنعدم لأدنى مقومات الحياة الأساسية، فنحن ننام على فرشات متجاورة لنستطيع الاستفادة من الأغطية القليلة والفرشات والمخدات كذلك حيث يتشارك كل 4 أفراد بفرشتين ومخدتين وغطاء واحد.

نعاني بشكل يومي في توفير المواد الغذائية، والتي نلجأ أحيانا الى تناول وجبة واحدة عبارة عن ساندويش من الجبنة بسبب انعدام الكهرباء والوقود وغاز الطهي نلجأ الى تناول المعلبات - وأحيانا لا يوجد خبز نتناولها بالملعقة-، وذلك بسبب اغلاق المعابر منذ بداية الحرب ومنع دخول البضائع والوقود، ناهيك عن عدم توفر الأدوية ومياه الشرب، حيث اضطررنا إلى تناول المياه المالحة لصعوبة توفر مياه الشرب لكافة أفراد العائلة التي تلجأ الى الاستحمام وغسل الملابس مرة واحدة كل 9 أيام.

فقدنا الكثير من أفراد عائلتنا والمقربين والأصدقاء والزملاء دون توديعهم للمرة الأخيرة او حتى معرفة أين دفنوا، خسرنا عملنا ومشروعنا الذي كان مصدر رزقنا الوحيد، حيث تدمر متجر الاب الذي كان مخصص لبيع قطع غيار السيارات.

نحتاج الى البدء بحياة جديدة ، حيدر 9 سنوات موهوب في رسم السيارات ومبدع في التصميم ويحتاج الى حياة أفضل من أن يقضيها في الحرب أو أن يخرج أشلاء من تحت الركام كباقي الأطفال الذين تم استهدافهم، لذا أتمنى أن تحقق الحملة هدفها الرئيسي في جمع المبلغ المطلوب وأتمنى تقدير موقفي كأم خائفة من الحرب وقلقة جدا على حياة أطفالها وتفكر في مستقبلهما.
