Help us with our IVF Journey

Hi! We are Aaron and Shayla :) We’ve been married for 10+ years and for the majority of that time we’ve been trying to have our own children, but with various medical issues on both of our parts we’ve not been able to conceive even with medicated IUI. With counsel from multiple infertility specialists we’ve learned that IVF is probably the only way we’ll ever have a chance of having our own children and we’re asking for your help to make it happen this summer.

Many of our friends and family have asked us if we’ve thought about adoption, and we definitely have :) Probably the biggest reason we haven’t pursued that is because Aaron grew up in a blended family and knows first hand what it’s like to not look like anyone in his family, and while family isn’t always defined by blood and appearance, it is something that we want to at least try our best to provide for our children.

Throughout our marriage we’ve had many amazing and happy experiences along with some really hard challenges not related to our infertility, and through it all, learning to love each other for who we are and seeing the best in each other, we feel like our relationship is in the best place it ever has been to bring a child into our family :)

Your donation will go toward the standard IVF procedure, genetic testing of the embryos (to ensure a healthy baby), required medication because of our conditions, and other associated costs. We plan to work with New Direction Fertility Clinic in Gilbert, AZ, which has helped a few of our close friends have success in having children. We thank you for your love and support and will keep you up to date on our journey :)
