To those who know Brent Vinson, this is common knowledge. But for those who don’t, I will try my best to encapsulate his character. Brent is a hard-working, fierce yet tender-hearted, patient and kind, mighty man of God. He is a devoted husband and loving father, as well as son, brother & a friend to many
On November 6th, Brent suffered a freak accident. After being rushed to the emergency room due to falling unconscious, doctors discovered that Brent broke his neck and suffered a stroke. Upon further examination, a blood clot was found in his brain, causing a 99% blockage in his basilar artery. His doctors suggested waiting to operate on his neck until the blood thinners minimized the size of the clot.
November 8th, Brent was given another CT scan to assess the size of the clot, to which doctors noticed no change in size, ultimately halting the necessary spinal fusion repair. A team of medical professionals are meeting on Brent’s behalf to evaluate the next course of action. At this time, doctors project a 3-month recovery period following spinal fusion surgery.
As one could imagine, this has been incredibly hard, both physically and mentally, on Brent, his wife Phoebe & his entire family. Between medical bills, the cost of living, taking care of three young boys, and being limited to one income due to Phoebe taking a temporary leave of absence from work to care for Brent, the financial burden has become increasingly greater. Brent has never shied away from an opportunity to lend a helping hand when needed. Now, it is our time to lend ours back.
Your contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward supporting the Vinson family during this challenging time. If you are not in a financial position to donate, please consider reposting this link or standing in agreement with us, as we are believing God for full restoration to Brent’s body and cognitive functioning
On behalf of my brother-in-law, sister, and the rest of the family, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
