Hi everyone! I would love for you to meet Lucy.  I would really love to meet the healthy and happy version of Lucy, myself. That is the goal here today!

Lucy was found abandoned on the side of the road freezing and starving on Dec 21st. We took her in and have tried giving her the best life we can, but she is needing all the help she can get now.

She’s declining pretty quickly- not holding down anything at all nor wanting to eat/drink. I’ve been pushing droppers of pedialite to her, but that’s not enough to survive, especially if she’s throwing it right back up.

Jan 2: I took her to the vet this morning and they are going to keep her at least overnight tonight, probably longer, and give IV fluids as well as run some tests and do X-rays so see if there is a blockage or other visible issue. She is not chipped, so any hope of finding out her history for a more speedy treatment plan is gone.

A firm mass was felt on her abdomen during our visit, but we have no idea what we are dealing with. It could be something as minor as severe inflammation causing additional swelling, it could be a blockage from some trash she ate out there, or it could be worse. We truly don’t know, but when the phone rings suggesting her treatment plan, I want to be able to say “Yes, save that baby!”… 

Please help me if you can I promise to pay it forward as well as return any penny that is not needed for Lucy if it’s God willing something simple that can be treated with some meds and lots of love

They think she is roughly 2 years old, so there breaks my heart that her best years are still yet to come and here she’s fighting for her life after fighting so hard alone until we found her
