Medical and Household assistance

We have started this fundraising effort to help the Huelsmann family-Rachel, Josh, Levi, and Ryleigh- with medical and household expenses. Ryleigh will be 5 in September. In early August she was originally diagnosed with viral meningitis and discharged home. This quickly changed into something more challenging: Optoclonus-Myoclonus-Ataxia Syndrome. This autoimmune disease is rare, affecting 1 in 10 million children, often triggered by a virus. Treatment is aggressive and will be continued for years to come, as well as Physical and Occupational therapies. Rachel, her mother, has been unable to work due to the multiple hospitalizations.
