I walked out of a 20-year narcissistic abusive marriage 4 years ago and lost my father 20 days later unexpectedly. I became my mother’s caretaker and started working 80 hours a week. I gave my mother a beautiful home, then on 7-3 in one day, she was diagnosed with stage 4 lung/brain cancer and I lost her on 7-24. I never had time to mourn either parent as I’ve been working to survive. I got laid off on 11-18 and now I’m terrified I am going to lose everything I have worked so hard for. I have no family or friends as my marriage destroyed that. I have been trying to start my own xTool laser business, but now if I lose my home, I lose that chance as well. I have worked hard to break free and now have a home of my own, but I could lose it all in a week. I can’t keep working 16-hour shifts as I’m breaking my body down and sometimes can barely get out of bed. I need to get my business going, but right now keeping my home and my car is all I have. I am asking for help as I have nowhere else to turn, and if I can save my home, I can get my business going to break me free from working 80-100 hours a week.
