The Watson family

Hello, my name is Shawna Schafer.

Early this morning my cousin Cody Watson was hit head on the drivers side by another pick up on his way to work. Cody was brought to G R baker memorial in Quesnel, BC. Cody is stable but is undergoing his first surgery, he will be losing his left leg from the knee down. When the roads clear up after the heavy snow fall he will be transported to Prince George hospital.

With being in an accident comes a lot of expenses by itself but Cody was the only one working to allow his wife to stay at home with their medical baby Liam who needs around the clock care and their oldest son Micheal.

Cody’s dad, mom and wife will be staying by his side as much as possible and that comes with added on expenses as well.

I am asking for help with travel, hotels and meals along with any medical expenses they will have to face.

Cody and Katelyn have always helped and given the shirt off their back whenever someone was in need of help, I am hoping we can show them the same back.

Cody has a long road to recovery and this will help ease the financial strain of it all.
