Just a few months ago, our mom Liz received devastating news — she was diagnosed with two different forms of cancer, one in Stage 1 and the other in Stage 2. She’s chosen to keep the details of her diagnoses private, but what we can share is that she’s now begun chemotherapy, and the effects are already taking a serious toll on her body and spirit.
What we weren’t prepared for was the enormous financial burden that would come with this fight. Between hospital bills, chemotherapy sessions, specialist appointments, medications, lab work, and ongoing tests, the medical costs have quickly become overwhelming — and they are continuing to grow every week.
Our mom has always been a pillar of strength — dedicated, hardworking, and full of quiet perseverance. For more than 13 years, she committed herself to the same company, showing up every day with unwavering loyalty and drive. Alongside our dad, she built a life grounded in love, resilience, and quiet strength. She was never one to ask for help, no matter how hard things got.
But now, she’s facing the most difficult challenge of her life. Her health has declined to the point where she can no longer work — which has effectively cut my parents’ household income in half at a time when their expenses are higher than ever
My dad, who is 76 years old, is doing everything he can — still working, managing household responsibilities, and caring for my mom around the clock. But the financial pressure is mounting quickly, and we simply can’t do it alone.
We’re raising funds to help cover:
1. Hospital bills
2. Chemotherapy and treatment costs
3. Specialist visits, scans, co-pays, and medications
4. Out-of-pocket medical expenses
5. Living costs while both of our parents go through this incredibly difficult journey
Every donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward relieving the crushing financial stress they’re facing. It will allow our mom to focus on healing, and give our dad the chance to care for her without sacrificing their basic needs.
If you aren’t in a position to donate, please consider sharing this page. Even one share could help us reach someone who’s able to make a difference.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your love, support, and prayers. It truly means the world to our family.
With sincere gratitude,
