Answers for Ellie

A few weeks ago my fiancé and I rescued Ellie from true north rescue mission. She was rescued at the age of 12 weeks old from a puppy mill in Misouri. When we took Ellie home we noticed she walked very strange and sometimes when she would try and use the bathroom her legs would stiffen up and she would be stiff for a few minutes afterwards, not being able to walk and sometimes in pain. We are now noticing that she is having minor seizures that are lasting anywhere from 10-30 mins. Without the proper diagnosis from a neurologist we don’t know what is causing them or how we can help her. We brought her to multiple vet visits and they have diagnosed her issue as neurological. Unfortunately this all happened so quickly pet insurance will not cover and has gone into a pre existing state. Her neuro test can be anywhere from $2,500 and up. Any donation will help us send our fur baby for the proper testing and help us not only give her a proper diagnosis, but treatment to help her. Rescuing dogs from these terrible conditions leaves us unknown of their past history or what happened to them before they came home. It breaks our hearts to see this fun loving puppy have these episodes that vets claim “they have never seen before.” We appreciate everyone’s love and support and would appreciate any donations to help us save our rescued girl!
