Paisley Grace

Hi, this is my niece Paisley Grace. For those of you who don’t know, she was born with a rare medical condition called Vein of Galen Malformation. The doctors found it within days of her being born 6 years ago. My brother and sister-in-law, without hesitation, gave her the best shot at life as they could. She started her life with multiple brain surgeries and only a small chance to survive. Against all odds, she’s here and just shy of her 7th birthday.

Her life hasn’t been easy thus far but shes a fighter! Tomorrow morning she’ll be heading to Boston Children’s Hospital to see a team who specializes in this rare disorder. Her brain has a lot of pressure on it and she may need a drain to relieve it.

My brother is the sole provider of his family of 5. He has missed multiple days of work over the course of Paisley’s life due to hospital visits and being there for just about every medical emergency.
