I have been associated with Cancer-related charities for more than 5 years now, as this cause is very personal to me and this year I am raising funds to support "The Pink Fund".

While the bigger cancer research organizations are doing amazing work for cancer research that will have long term benefits but this year I wanted to focus on charities that will have immediate and quantifiable impact directly on individuals that are living with cancer.

The Pink Fund provides 90-day non-medical cost-of-living expenses on behalf of breast cancer patients in active treatment, so they can focus on healing, raising their families, and returning to the workplace. Active treatment is defined as the period after a positive diagnosis of breast cancer has been made (with a diagnostic biopsy), and during which therapies are being administered, including surgical procedures to remove the cancer.

Like always, its the thought that matters more than the amount donated.
