Chandler's Modified Home

Chandler is one of triplets born at 29.5 weeks on December 15, 1998. At 10 days old he contracted meningitis which resulted in severe cerebral palsy.I was a single mom at 21 years old and determined to be the best mom I could be despite being advised that Chandler's care would be to much for me to handle especially with two other babies. With amazing friends and family supporting us Chandler surprised all the doctors and avoided a feeding tube, he could hold his head up and even smiled all which no one believed he would ever do. He continues with the help of his family, therapist's and teachers to make small improvements. Chandler is a spastic quadriplegic which means all four limbs are affected leaving him with minimal purposeful movement. Chandler has been through countless surgeries and hospital stays all with his gracious infectious smile. As the years have passed it has become increasingly hard for us to care for Chandler with no adaptive equipment. He has outgrown me and I am no longer able to carry him upstairs in are current home. 
Over the last 3 years our family has tried all government possibilities for funding to help with much needed equipment to aid in caring for Chandler with no success. Chandler requires 24hr care and assistance to complete all daily activities. 
After 1.5years of searching for a home to modify we finally found our forever home . The modifications Chandler requires in order for our family to continue to care for him are; wheelchair shower and equipment,modified bathroom, steel beams in ceiling for ceiling lifts, hoyer lifts, widened doorways and hallways and a wheelchair ramp. 
With great encouragement from friends we are asking for help to modify our new  home for Chandler so that we can continue to care for him as he continues to grow. Your support in helping us with the costing will help Chandler live in a barrier free environment which will enable us to stay together as a family.
