Aaron York was a wonderful husband, father, and friend.
From their first date, Jenny knew he was THE ONE. When the time came to take the next leap forward in their relationship, Aaron donned a brand new pair of dress shoes and a nice suit as he walked to the jewelry store several miles away. His new shoes, having never been broken in, blistered his feet so badly that he had to call Jenny to pick him up. Their song from that point on was The Proclaimers' "500 Miles".
Many doctors had told Jenny she would never have children. Undaunted, she and Aaron tried for years to expand their little family. In 2010, they were elated to welcome daughter Eva. Then, like those often-heard stories, Jenny found herself pregnant with little Ronan who was born in 2013. Things were on the right track! Their family was growing, and everyone was happy.
Aaron had struggled with health issues throughout his life, but his family had been hopeful about his treatment when he passed away suddenly in April.
His previous health issues left him ineligible for life insurance; and Jenny is now left with medical bills and funeral expenses while raising their two young children on her own.
Friends of Aaron and Jenny have come together to help raise funds for her to be able to take care of these expenses so she won't have the added stress of financial hardship on top,of the shock and grief from the sudden loss of the love of her life.
