Our middle school students are in need of funds!
Two of our 8th grade students took the first and second prize in the Junior Essay Division of the State History Day Competition held this past weekend. One 6th grader took 4th place in the Junior Documentary Division along with other awards. All three students qualified for the National History Day Competition held in Washington D.C. from June 12-21st.
Because of a limited school budget, the three students are now at risk of forfeiting the opportunity to compete after all of their hard work and dedication this past year.
It is our goal to support these incredibly talented students in attending the National History Day competition. They are required to submit a total of $2000 each in order to pay for airfare and lodging. There is no donation too small!
This will be an experience of a lifetime for Hawaii students to be able to travel across the country to Washington D.C. Please consider donating. Mahalo!
