Hi, my name is Andy. I am Babatunde Bello's team leader and friend. Babatunde, lovingly known as Bello is a tall, handsome, always happy and loving Nigerian man. Bello has worked with me at Scottish Water as a sampling officer for 3 years now. Bello is one of the nicest guys you could ever hope to meet. He has worked immensely hard at his job and is so happy living with his wife is Aberdeen, Scotland. A place they now call home.
Last Wednesday the 5th of November, Bello woke one morning with his wife by his side and midway through chatting through their day to come, he had a seizure. As his wife performed CPR on him to keep him alive, the paramedics arrived and confirmed he suffered a severe bleed to the brain. He was rushed to the ARI where they performed emergency surgery, before being transferred down to Edinburgh for a more in depth surgery.
Coming up a week later, Bello is still heavily sedated whilst they perform tests on his brain function. To this point, it's not yet known the full extent of any damage caused.
Bello's wife is staying very strong and is by his side day and night. But not only is she concerned about her husband's health, she has the financial worries that now present themselves and the associated costs of having to care for Bello during his recovery.
If I had the money to cover this myself, I would do so in a heartbeat. So I am reaching out to you to see if together we can make this happen. So anything little you may be able to offer will all add up and go a long way.
Thank you for taking the time to read my campaign and thank-you so much to anyone who can donate.
Thank-you
Andy
