Hello, my name is Dominique, and I’m raising funds to support families and individuals who have lost everything in the devastating aftermath of Hurricane Melissa.

This storm has torn through communities across Jamaica, with some of the hardest-hit areas including Black River and St. Elizabeth. Homes, schools, and businesses have been destroyed, leaving families without shelter, clean water, or basic necessities. Many people have lost their livelihoods overnight, and entire neighborhoods are struggling to survive.

I’m asking for your help so we can provide both immediate relief and long-term support to the families working to rebuild. Your generous donations will be used entirely to help impacted communities—especially those in Black River and St. Elizabeth—get back on their feet. Funds will go toward:

• Hygiene essentials (toothpaste, soap, feminine products, baby supplies, etc.)

• Blankets, mattresses, and beds

• Food and clean drinking water

• Clothing

• Emergency aid for displaced families

• Materials to rebuild homes, schools, and businesses

• Any other urgent needs that arise during recovery

Every contribution—big or small—makes a meaningful difference. With your support, we can help restore stability, dignity, and hope to people who have lost so much. These are our neighbors, families, and friends, and they need us now more than ever.

Thank you for your compassion, generosity, and prayers during this heartbreaking time. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this campaign to help spread the word.

With gratitude,

Dominique
