My name is April and I'm about ready to start the fight for my life. In the beginning of October, I found out I have breast cancer. And now, after all the appointments, I'm going to be having a double mastectomy on November 12th.

As if life isn't already hard enough with our economy the way that it is and the price of things being so expensive, now my family has to try and figure out how to pay our bills and care for me on top of everything else. I am trying to raise funds so that my friend who's going to be coming and staying with me doesn't have to pay for a hotel out of pocket. I'm trying to raise funds so that I don't lose my car insurance or any of my other household bills that I desperately need for my family to stay afloat.

It is going to be a long road for me and my family and I will not be able to work for quite some time depending on the second course of treatment that will be needed. Please, if you can, help keep my family afloat during this incredibly difficult time. Anything will help.
