Rory’s Medical Expenses

On May 16, my best friend Erica’s life was turned upside down when her sweet Maine Coon Rory started acting out of the ordinary rather suddenly. She brought him into the emergencyvet where he stayed for three nights being given multiple medications, IV’s, and a catheter. He had a blockage in his urethra (a common problem in male cats). He went home for one night and then had to return to the vet for similar symptoms and a fever. He stayed for two more days. He was catheterized again and given more medications. His vets are hopeful, but if the medications do not continue working he will need surgery which will cost about $3,000. His vet expenses now from his recent stays are upwards of $2,000. Erica would NEVER ask for help, and as a pet owner accepts full responsibility for these expenses, but as her best friend I feel compelled to ask for help on her behalf. Unfortunately today Rory was in pain again and admitted to the vet yet again where Erica was told he would need the surgery. Please, please keep him in your thoughts and prayers and know that every donation is GREATLY appreciated. ♥️♥️
